Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit evvolilab.com or write to us, and what will apply when a call for applications opens. evvoliLab is an initiative of evvoli (the flagship brand of MASA Group, through MASA Trading FZE, Dubai) and Galileo Visionary District (Padova, Italy), which includes SID – Scuola Italiana Design.
If the English and Italian versions differ, the Italian version prevails.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is evvoli, through MASA Trading FZE, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach it at [email protected].
2. How to contact us about your data
Write to [email protected] for any request about your personal data, including the rights in section 10.
3. What the site itself does not do
The site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. Fonts, scripts and images are served from our own server, so loading a page sends no requests to third parties. The contact form does not send anything to our servers, and the site collects no applications. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
4. What data we process, and why
4.1 Visiting the site
- Data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and device information, recorded in the logs of the server that hosts the site.
- Who: our hosting provider, which keeps the logs for up to 30 days, and longer only to investigate a security incident.
- Purpose: to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure site (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
4.2 Language preference
When you choose English or Italian, your browser stores that choice on your device (localStorage, key evl-lang). It never reaches us. See the Cookie Policy.
4.3 Writing to us
The contact form opens your own email app with a message addressed to [email protected] and [email protected]. Nothing is sent until you send it from your email app. You can also write to [email protected], to Galileo Visionary District at [email protected] or, for press, to [email protected].
- Data: your name, email address, the content of your message and anything you choose to attach.
- Purpose: to read and reply to your message.
- Who: the email provider that hosts the evvolilab.com mailboxes, acting on our instructions.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a possible agreement (art. 6(1)(b)), when you propose a collaboration; otherwise our legitimate interest in answering you (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Kept for: 12 months after the last message in the exchange.
4.4 Applications
No call for applications is open at the moment, and this site collects no applications. Before the next call opens, this policy will be updated to say who receives applications, which data they ask for and for how long it is kept.
5. Who receives your data
- Galileo Visionary District (Padova, Italy), which receives the messages sent to [email protected], to read and reply to them together with evvoli. See section 6.
- Service providers acting on our instructions: hosting (4.1) and email (4.3).
We do not sell your data and do not use it for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
MASA Trading FZE is based in the United Arab Emirates, which has no EU adequacy decision. When your data is shared between MASA Trading FZE and Galileo Visionary District (Italy), the transfer relies on the EU standard contractual clauses.
7. Do you have to give us your data?
No. Writing to us is voluntary. Without your name and email address, we cannot reply to you.
8. Automated decisions
We make no decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling (GDPR art. 22).
9. Minors
The site and its calls are meant for people aged 18 or over. If you are younger, please do not send us personal data without a parent or guardian. If we find that we hold data from a minor without that consent, we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Under GDPR articles 15 to 22 you can ask us to:
- give you access to your data and a copy of it;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- limit how we use it;
- send it to you, or to another organisation, in a common format (portability);
- stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest (objection).
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing before the withdrawal.
Write to the address in section 2. We will reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months for complex requests.
11. Complaints
You can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of the EU country where you live or work.
12. Changes
We will publish any change on this page and update the date at the top.
